Google Analytics, only if you say yes
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the website is used, so that we can improve it. Google Analytics is not loaded until you have pressed «Accept» in the cookie banner. If you press «Decline», or make no choice, nothing is sent to Google.
Once you have said yes, the following is recorded, among other things:
- which pages you visit, and for how long
- how you arrived at the website, for example from a search or a link
- approximate location (country and city), derived from your IP address
- what type of device, browser and screen size you use
Google Analytics sets the cookies _ga and _ga_X6Z798S1C7 with a random ID, so that repeat visits from the same browser can be recognised. They last for up to two years. We have turned off Google signals and ad personalisation, and we do not use the data for advertising.
The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a), and section 3-15 of the Norwegian Electronic Communications Act).
The recipient is Google Ireland Limited. The data may also be transferred to Google LLC in the United States. Google LLC is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission has recognised as providing an adequate level of protection.
How to withdraw your consent: press «Cookies» at the bottom of the page and choose «Decline». Measurement stops immediately, and we delete the GA cookies from your browser as far as the browser allows. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings.
Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage (localStorage) under the name kallia-samtykke-v1. It only contains «ja» (yes) or «nei» (no), and is not sent anywhere.
Visitor numbers without cookies
The website is hosted by Vercel. As with any website, the server receives your IP address when the page loads, because it is needed to deliver the page.
We also use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views without setting cookies or storing anything on your device. We only see aggregate numbers, not who has visited. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in knowing that the website works and is being used (Article 6(1)(f)).
The contact form
When you submit the form, we process what you fill in: your name and email address, and optionally your company, phone number, topic and message.
The purpose is to answer and follow up your enquiry. The legal basis is the consent you give in the checkbox on the form (Article 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it by writing to btk@kallia.no.
The form does not store your enquiry in any database on the website. It is sent as an email to btk@kallia.no through the email service Resend, and ends up in Kallia's email at Google Workspace. Resend and Google process the data on our behalf.
We keep the enquiry for as long as it is needed to follow it up. If it becomes a customer relationship, the section on email and customer relationships applies.
Proposals on tilbud.kallia.no
If we send you a proposal, you receive a personal link to it on tilbud.kallia.no. When you open it, we record that the proposal has been opened, how long it is open, which version you see, whether you play the video and whether you print it. This is linked to the personal link, and therefore to you as the recipient.
The purpose is to follow up the proposal, for example to know when it makes sense to get in touch. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in following up a proposal you or your company has received (Article 6(1)(f)). You can object to this by writing to btk@kallia.no.
The proposal page sets no cookies. The data is kept for as long as it is needed to follow up the proposal and any resulting agreement.
Email and customer relationships
When you write to us or are a customer of ours, we process your name, contact details and what we write to each other. The purpose is to answer you, deliver the assignment and follow up the agreement. The legal basis is the contract with you or your company (Article 6(1)(b)), or our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and staying in touch with customers (point (f)).
Our email is hosted by Google Workspace. Information we need for our accounts, such as invoices, is kept for as long as the Norwegian Bookkeeping Act requires. The rest we delete when we no longer need it.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- access the data we hold about you
- have incorrect data corrected
- have data deleted
- have processing restricted
- object to processing based on legitimate interest
- receive data you have given us in a machine-readable format (data portability)
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing that took place before
Write to btk@kallia.no and we will reply within one month.
If you believe we process personal data in breach of the rules, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet (datatilsynet.no). We would appreciate it if you let us know first, so that we can put it right.
Changes
We update this policy when we change how we process personal data. It was last updated on 28 September 2026.
